The Florida Courts Technology Commission has submitted to the Florida Supreme Court a petition asking the Court to adopt new Rule of Judicial Administration 2.236, which would formally create and set forth the responsibilities of the Commission. The Court invites all interested persons to comment on the proposed new rule, which are reproduced in full below, as well as online at www.floridasupremecourt. org/decisions/proposed.shtml. An original and nine paper copies of all comments must be filed with the court on or before March 22, with a certificate of service verifying that a copy has been served on Judge Judith L. Kreeger, Commission Chair, 11th Judicial Circuit, Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center, 175 N.W. 1st Avenue, Suite 2114, Miami 333128-1845, as well as a separate request for oral argument if the person filing the comment wishes to participate in oral argument, which may be scheduled in this case. The chair has until April 1, 2010, to file a response to any comments filed with the Court. Electronic copies of all comments also must be filed in accordance with the Court's administrative order In re Mandatory Submission of Electronic Copies of Documents, Fla. Admin.
